Winds Across the Bosphorus

This is my entry for *Lorelei-Coral ' s Dark & Weather contest [link] ... not sure if there is enough "weather" but I tried to depict wind of the Bosphorus Straight, Istanbul.

Came in 3rd place ... to *Lorelei-Coral and the people who commented on my work!!! It was a great challenge and I am thrilled to be recognized!

I don't usually use textures but as the theme of the contest is to try something different ... well this is different for me ... hopefully enough.

The rest is all me ... The background image is from a photo I took while on a boat tour of Istanbul. What a city!!!

NOTE: Edited image July 23/09 - changed the way the winded was blowing the veil and curtain ... felt the original was not right and it was bothering me!
