This images title is based on the 1960 - 1964 TV Series called ROUTE 66 ... about 2 young men who travel around the USA in a Chevy Corvette helping people out (shades of Supernatural ;D). The series was based on the Nat King Cole song called "(Get Your Kicks) On Route 66" ... youtu.be/kbQXalTGu-8

My "Demon Hunters" are travelers who have dedicated their lives to a journey through the demon dimensions and outer planetary systems. Specifically they hunt and track demons, devils, crawlers and rippers while rescuing those in need!

Their "vehicle" is a CCHT-V series transformer... (a Classic Convertible Hoover Track - 'Vette Series)... it is designed to simulate a 1945 Chevy Stylemaster that can transform into a Corvette Trans-light Racer. Extremely useful when a very fast get-away is needed ... the blue light is from the magno-pad power grid. It is the perfect "fuel" for their line of work ... it has power to spare and it's a strong demon repellent!

They have just started traveling on a route that is famous for it's soul eating demons inhabitants ... it is known as "Route 666" and our friends are about to find out what it's like to get their "Kicks on Route 666"!

All images used to create Route 666 are my own photographs. The "Demon Hunters" were taken at Cos & Effect ... a Cos Play Convention held in Vancouver, BC. Photos were taken with permission from the models.
The skulls of the demons were also from Cos & Effect, photo taken with permission by School.
The old car was taken locally (Vancouver) and was actually a movie prop for both 7th Son and Stargate
The Landscape photo was taken in Utah, the sky I created from the original sky and various cloud photos and my own cloud brushes.

You can see the images here to get an idea of what I was working with ... I did not put the planets on here as I created them from scratch.



NOTE: There is a faint watermark on the image (in the sky) ... it is not a mistake. I wanted to put in some protection from coping but I didn't want to make it too obvious
